Membership & Events Coordinator


After studying sociology, writing and photography at Sarah Lawrence College, Veronica moved to Austin and began working in the non-profit world. While managing events for a children's home, she began freelancing on the side as a creative outlet before deciding to dive into full-time food, beverage and travel writing. She was the Austin editor for Zagat for three years and since 2005 she has written for publications like Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, Forbes Travel Guide, Tasting Table, PUNCH, Texas Monthly, The Austin Chronicle and more. Though she just can't quit the freelance life, she is also happy to be working back in the non-profit world in a way that benefits Austin's food and wine community. She also sits on the board of Slow Food Austin and managed content for the inaugural Wonder Women of Wine conference.
