August 17 at the WFF Tasting Room – Wine 101: How To Buy Wine – 4:30 pm or 6:30pm Seatings

Do you make your wine selections based on a recommendation, a pretty label, a rating, a favorite producer or grape? Perhaps it’s a combination of all the above.  What if you don’t have any of these go-to’s to rely on? How do you select a bottle of wine? In this ‘How To’ class Daniel Kelada, a long-time wine buyer, seller, sommelier, and senior wine instructor, will walk you through the How’s and the Why’s to making the perfect wine purchase. It’s not difficult; it’s just knowing what to pay attention to so you get exactly what you want for the occasion.

Join us on August 17th for the 2nd installment in our Wine 101 series and demystify the process of selecting the perfect bottle of wine.

August 31 a the WFF Tasting Room – Wine 101: How To Taste Wine Like a Pro – 4:30 pm or 6:30pm Seatings

Discover the elements of wine that make each one unique. Part chemical structure, part winemaking techniques, part terroir; each wine has a story to tell. Join Certified Sommelier and WFF Board Member Joelle Cousins to learn how to assess the wine from start to finish while identifying aromas and flavors. By the end of class, you will understand how to taste and why things taste the way they do with a versatile flight of impeccably crafted wines.

ABOUT THE IMBIBE SERIES

IMBIBE means to consume or absorb – and that’s exactly what you’ll do in our classes… consume and absorb wine, food, and knowledge.

We host about two IMBIBE classes each month – usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays. These classes are a great way to learn, and engage with other like-minded members of our community.  We have a variety of highly knowledgeable professionals who impart great information, and usually a few good laughs, too!

Registration:

Tickets are on sale for WFF Members Only Now! Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 am on July 25th for all classes!
