Indeed! Donum's Pinot Noir Carneros West Slope 2012 earned a "classic" rating of 95 points, while four other Donum wines receive "outstanding" scores ranging from 91-93 points.

Maker of highly coveted California pinot noir will welcome guests and pour her top-rated wines at the 2015 auction preview reception at Four Seasons Austin.
“Great wine comes from great grapes, and great grapes come from great vineyards,” said Donum Estate President and Winegrower Anne Moller-Racke, when interviewed last fall for the annual wine issue of Sonoma magazine.
The popular West Coast lifestyle publication featured Moller-Racke’s photo on its cover, dubbing her in big bold letters “The Princess of Pinot.” Come springtime, Austin will be hosting royalty.

The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas (WFFT) has hired accomplished non-profit executive Peggy Hanley as its new Executive Director. Hanley brings to the Foundation more than 11 years of nonprofit industry experience, most recently serving as director of development for St. Michael’s Catholic Academy in Austin. In her role as executive director, Hanley will guide WFFT’s day-to-day operations, geared toward fulfilling the organization’s mission of supporting charitable works in the community through educational programs and social events, which highlight the WFFT member’s passion for wine and food. Hanley will report to WFFT Board President Mark Shilling, carry out the strategy and business plan of an 11-member executive committee, and manage WFFT’s staff and volunteers.

The contributions further the WFFT’s mission to better the health and well-being of our community by funding culinary scholarships, educational grants and other deserving causes.
