Summary

The Development & Marketing Manager is responsible for targeting and securing new sponsors and new members of the Wine & Food Foundation. In addition, this position is responsible for the organization’s marketing & communications strategy and execution. The Development & Marketing Manager is a full-time position and reports to the Executive Director.

 

Responsibilities

Development: We have two separate areas of development – corporate sponsors and members.

  • Sponsorship (cash & in-kind)
    • Develop target list of potential sponsors
    • Conduct sponsor target outreach, schedule/lead pitch calls & meetings
    • Create custom sponsorship proposals
    • Achieve sponsorship revenue goals
    • Sponsorship execution and sponsor stewardship
    • Creation and maintenance of sponsorship deck and other sponsorship collateral
    • Solicitation of Auction items
  • Membership
    • Oversight of WFF Membership Program
    • Ongoing analysis and improvements of Member benefits
    • Create new ways to appeal to potential Members
    • Achieve new membership goals
    • Member stewardship
    • Creation and maintenance of membership collateral

Marketing

  • Development, maintenance, and execution of communications for all audiences – members, non-members, Board, industry, volunteer recruitment, etc.
    • Member and non-member targeted campaigns
    • Public relations
    • Event marketing
    • Branded collateral
    • Measurement and Analysis
  • Development, maintenance, and execution of communications for all audiences – members, non-members, Board, industry, volunteer recruitment, etc.
    • Email marketing
    • Social media platform management
    • Blog writing and management
    • Digital marketing
    • Website updates and maintenance
    • Event communications (Know Before You Go emails, Post-event surveys, etc.)

Development & Marketing Manager must be able to work some evenings/weekends based on event schedule.

Experience
  • 5-8 years of Development & Marketing experience
  • Experience with standard development & marketing platforms including but not limited to email marketing programs, social media platforms, Canva, WordPress, sponsorship decks/PPT, etc.
  • Non-profit experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the food & beverage industry a plus

 

Compensation
  • Salary commensurate with experience
