The Rare & Fine Wine Auction is the Foundation’s most well-known event of the year, and our biggest fundraiser of the year. The success of this event enables the Foundation to execute on its mission to cultivate and invest in the wine and food community through education, appreciation and enjoyment.

Hugh Davies, Schramsberg Vineyards
One might say that Hugh Davies was born with a wineglass in his hand, and that wouldn’t be too far from the truth. Hugh was born in 1965, the same year that his parents, Jack and Jamie Davies, purchased the abandoned Schramsberg Estate in Calistoga. Hugh grew up among the vines, caves, tanks and barrels that make Schramsberg Vineyards what it is today: the premier producer of American sparkling wines.

By purchasing ticket(s), table(s), or a sponsorship and/ or participating in any WINE & FOOD FOUNDATION related event(s) and activities you and your guest(s) acknowledge, appreciate, and agree with the following terms and statements outlined in the Participation Agreement found here.

COVID-19 Protocols / Cancellation Policy
We will monitor this ever-changing COVID environment, and will provide details and safety protocols to guests in advance of the event in a “Know Before You Go” email. We will host this event with the necessary safety protocols in place in order to keep our guests, staff and volunteers safe.
If we have to postpone due to the pandemic, our guests will have the option to receive a refund or to get a credit towards the rescheduled event.
If the Wine & Food Foundations feels it can proceed with the event safely, guests who wish to abstain for COVID reasons may request a refund until Friday, October 15 at 5:00pm CST. After that, tickets are non-refundable.
