The Kickoff BBQ starts the 3-day Rare & Fine Wine Auction celebration. The dinner will be on Thursday, November 4, 2021 starting at 6pm at Mercury Hall in Austin. Featuring William Chris Wines and Stiles Switch BBQ!

The safety and well-being of our guests, hosts, staff, and the community is of utmost importance. All present guidelines from the City of Austin, Travis County, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be adhered to at all events.

WFF is continually working to make sure that our events meet or exceed all current recommended standards.

All purchases are final and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Masks are required except when sitting and/ or actively eating or actively drinking.

What began as an acquaintance as winemakers in the Hill Country became a collaboration between Bill and Chris, focusing on a shared winemaking philosophy. As the word ‘winegrowers’ implies, Bill and Chris agree that great wines are not made but grown. They also believe that wine should be inspired by the pleasure that is shared with an extended community of friends and family. The creation of each new vintage depends greatly upon these two priorities.
Today, Bill and Chris continue to reach for a level of quality that represents the very best of Texas in each new vintage. It is with confidence in their process and pride in their families, community, and this special place, that they inscribe each bottle of William Chris with this greeting:

The safety of our community is our top priority. The Wine & Food Foundation Board of Directors has been adapting plans based on new and evolving information through the recommendations of Travis County, the state of Texas and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Board has put important measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our attendees during this event.

All who attend and participate in the Rare & Fine Wine Auction, the Auction Kickoff BBQ and Featured Winemaker Luncheon must provide the following:

  • proof of a negative COVID-19 test result* and/or
  • proof of full vaccination**
