IMBIBE: HEARTBREAKER PINOT NOIR
IMBIBE: HEARTBREAKER PINOT NOIR
Presented by Winebow Imports Fine Wine Specialist, Michiko Matsuura, DipWSET
Pinot Noir earned the nickname “the heartbreak grape” due to its challenging cultivation. The grape is delicate and susceptible to diseases, making it a finicky and demanding grape for winemakers. It’s also one of the most popular and widely planted grapes in the world, and while Burgundy is the ancestral home of Pinot Noir, it’s adapted to many popular regions and climates. It is notoriously sensitive to its growing conditions; its flavor profile is significantly influenced by terroir. Join us for an unforgettable Pinot Noir tasting to learn why this special grape continues to be a favorite among both casual wine drinkers and serious oenophiles.
