Add Some Sparkle & Joy to Your Holiday Table!

Don’t let your wine or champagne choice fizzle at the table this year. Add some sparkle and let the wines shine! Join experts Ali Schmidt, Advanced Sommelier and Wine Director at Austin’s favorite Emmer & Rye and Hestia along with Paul Ozbirn, Advanced Sommelier, as they walk you through some of their favorite holiday wines that make any dish or celebration shine. Some of the selections are celebration and higher value wines that make great gifts. Wines can be purchased directly from Austin Wine Merchant going into the holiday season.

Tasting:

You will taste wines and bubbles personally selected by experts Ali and Paul that define the holiday and go perfectly for many of the dishes and occasions that many will be participating in over the next few weeks. Guests will have the rare opportunity to ask questions and discuss why the wines chosen are special and unique.

You will be treated to an educational tasting of 5 wines that sparkle.

ABOUT THE IMBIBE SERIES

IMBIBE means to consume or absorb – and that’s exactly what you’ll do in our classes… consume and absorb wine, food, and knowledge.

We host about two IMBIBE classes each month – usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays. These classes are a great way to learn, and engage with other like-minded members of our community.  We have a variety of highly knowledgeable professionals who impart great information, and usually a few good laughs, too!
