Women’s History Month Food & Wine Pairing with H-E-B – Early 4:30pm Seating

Attendees to this IMBIBE session are going to taste some fabulous wines from female winemakers, paired with some delish bites from Main Streat Food Hall inside the H-E-B Mueller location.

Our host, Kathryne Bosco, WSET II, H-E-B Beer & Wine Manager, wanted to not only feature women winemakers, but specifically – wineries that promote, feature and take pride in the women who represent their brand. Kathryne is going to take us through wines from Willamette Valley-based Westmount – which boasts a female winemaker and female head of sales & education. Anne Sery, Westmount’s winemaker will also join us for the class.

Kathryne will also talk about some great wines under the DeMeine Estates portfolio, including Heitz Cellar and Brendel Wines, some of the most collected wines from Napa and whose winemaker, Brittany Sherwood, is only the third winemaker in 60 years of production and leads winemaking for both brands. Demeine Estates President, Philana Bouvier,  is also the co-founder of Be The Change, an advocate for diversity in the wine business and directs all the wineries in the portfolio including Heitz, Brendel, Stony Hill Vineyards, and Burgess Estates (historic Napa legacy estates-all with female winemakers).

Kathryne will pair the wines with some of the fantastic options that Main Streat Food Hall offers. It is sure to be a memorable and delicious experience!

Light bites are provided.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot as this class will sell out quickly!

ABOUT THE IMBIBE SERIES

IMBIBE means to consume or absorb – and that’s exactly what you’ll do in our classes… consume and absorb wine, food, and knowledge.

We host about two IMBIBE classes each month – usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays. These classes are a great way to learn, and engage with other like-minded members of our community.  We have a variety of highly knowledgeable professionals who impart great information, and usually a few good laughs, too!
