Hello, and welcome to our new look! We hope you like it!
For those of you I haven’t met, my name is Denise Silverman and I’m the Executive Director at WFF. I started in July, and since then, the team and I have been working diligently to engage our members and stakeholders amidst the current pandemic environment.
First and foremost, we’ve shifted our philanthropic efforts to support the hospitality community that has been so hard hit by COVID-19. Still true to our mission – to cultivate and invest in the wine & food community – we have pushed pause on grants and scholarships and are focusing on supporting our own – the hospitality industry – that has so generously and loyally supported the Foundation over the years.
In order to boost our fundraising efforts, we have re-vamped our Membership program and are hosting an exciting virtual event on October 22 & 23 – Nourish The Soul: A Hospitality Industry Benefit. We also re-structured and re-branded our education program. Our IMBIBE Education series includes virtual classes/tastings the first three Thursdays of every month.
