Hi everyone,
It’s the day before our big event – Nourish The Soul – A Hospitality Industry Benefit, and I’m feeling a little… verklempt.
My team and I are weary from all the details, phone calls and endless final preparations. Yet we are – at the same time – energized to the max! We have been put in the position to raise money for our own – the hospitality community. Nothing makes us more motivated and more proud than to fight for this community!
We are also really excited to have the opportunity to give our supporters an opportunity to celebrate. It took us a bit to figure out how to do it, but we are pretty proud of what we’ve been able to create, and really hope that our long-standing supporters feel that it has given them a reason to celebrate.
I know it may seem counter-intuitive to both celebrate and recognize our struggling hospitality community. But let’s be honest – community leads to philanthropy. Giving our supporters a reason to gather and celebrate will lead to donations and the support that is so very needed right now.
So – gather (safely), imbibe, and – most importantly – donate.
