As the Office & Events Coordinator, Lauren is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations for the Wine & Food Foundation office run smoothly, while also supporting the Marketing and Events Department.

Born, but not raised in Austin, Lauren made her way back to ATX after graduating from Baylor University. She grew up trying wines from around the world and developed a love and appreciation for wine and food thanks to her Dad. While deciding what to do with her Theater degree, she started working at Grape Vine Market, a wine and gourmet shop here in Austin, which sadly closed in 2009. She loved her role there and spent the next 10 years cultivating her passion for wine and food. Most recently, Lauren worked at Fall Creek Vineyards as the Marketing and Merchandise Coordinator where she gained knowledge of Texas wines.

Lauren lives with her family in northwest Austin along with their dog, Marley. Her husband hails from the Netherlands so Dutch culture is a huge part of their lives, which their teenage daughters have embraced as well.
