Miranda Roberts

Development & Marketing Manager

Miranda Roberts is a Texas native who loves all the things that make Texas feel like home: hunting, hiking, floating the river, Friday Night Football and Texas wine.

After college, Miranda moved to Austin and wanted to work with people and serve her community. She volunteered with her church and at various nonprofits where she had opportunities to work with the homeless community and plan fundraising events. In 2015, Miranda jumped at the chance to work at Mobile Loaves & Fishes and later, moved on to serve at Refugee Services of Texas. Over the course of her tenure, she has served as a Volunteer Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and Development and Communications Coordinator.

In her current role as WFF’s Development & Marketing Manager, Miranda helps to cultivate the organization’s sponsor and membership programs, and she also oversees the organization’s marketing strategy and execution. She proudly volunteers with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has served on its Philanthropy Day Awards Committee for three years – two as Committee Chair.

Miranda lives in South Austin with her husband, and chocolate lab, Crockett Pearl. Her favorite wine is Cabernet Franc and her biggest love is exploring West Texas and National Parks.
