2025 Grant Beneficiaries
AWFF is committed to preventing ang battling food insecurity in Central Texas.
In 2025, we granted a total of $65,000 to the following organizations.
The Austin Wine & Food Foundation’s donation enables SFC to provide more access to local nutritious food for individuals and families in need. Specifically, WFF’s funding plays a role in doubling the benefits for those who use nutrition assistance benefit programs like SNAP and WIC for nutritious foods like local fruits and vegetables.
For over 60 years, Caritas of Austin has provided safe and stable homes to support our unhoused neighbors. The Austin Wine & Food Foundation helps fund its Community Kitchen and its pantries, ensuring that people without homes receive not only healthy meals but the dignity we all deserve through a pleasant hospitality experience.
The Austin Wine & Food Foundation supports Keep Austin Fed’s Community Grocery Giveaways program to help elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and low-income families that have barriers to food access.
Sunday Lunchbox aims to bring innovation to the intersection of local food waste and food insecurity in the Austin area - preserving and transforming what would otherwise be food waste into shelf-stable foods. AWFF’s funding supports Sunday Lunchbox’s initiative to scale production of its products to be commercially available as consumer packaged goods.
