Join the Austin Wine & Food Foundation for an intimate Meet the Winemaker evening with Clement Renaud (visiting from France!) of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, held in the exclusive Speakeasy Wine Cave at Wanderlust Wine Co. Hidden behind a secret entrance at Wanderlust's flagship Barton Springs location, this underground hideaway sets an intimate, immersive backdrop for a rare chance to taste through one of Champagne's most celebrated houses.
Nicolas Feuillatte is the youngest of the great Champagne Houses and one of the region's leading grower-driven brands. Its wines draw on a wide mosaic of vineyard soils and grape varieties, blended with a rigorous selection of Premier and Grand Cru fruit to create the balance, finesse, and freshness the house is known for. Guests will have the chance to hear directly from Clement Renaud about that winemaking philosophy and taste a curated selection of cuvées from the house.
The evening unfolds in Wanderlust's underground speakeasy-style Wine Cave, an intimate escape built for exclusive tastings and curated wine experiences, just steps from Austin's iconic Barton Springs. It's a fittingly theatrical setting for a house whose story is itself full of ambition and reinvention, offering guests a close, conversational format rarely available with a Champagne house of this stature.
